The Hornepayne EDC is a not-for-profit that strives to constantly improve our township. We are independent from the municipal government.
Our flagship is the operation of the Parkview Apartment complex, which has capacity for 30+ families; in a small town, every residential space is crucial!
You can check out the complex, rates, and availability of apartment units [below]. You can learn about the EDC and it's projects [here].
With 35 units, our apartment complex is by far the largest in town. Apartments have a full bathroom, kitchen with fridge and stove, bachelor or 1 to 3 bedrooms. Coin washers and dryers on-site.
We work with the Algoma District Services Board (ADSAB) to provide subsidies for low-income residents. For more information on these subsidies, contact us see this page: [Applying for ADSAB].

About the HEDC
The Hornepayne EDC is made up of a few staff and a board of hard-working volunteers.
The HEDC administrative staff are currently Stacey Rendell and Gaven Rendell, who also handle most of the apartment complex functions.
For information on the staff, board, and by-laws of the HEDC, or how you can join us, see this page: [The HEDC Team]
Hornepayne is our home, and we work to improve it!
We frequently update out "Job Postings" section, as there's always someone looking for a job and someone looking for an employee.
[Hornepayne Job Postings]
To help our citizens and businesses, we host the Hornepayne [Business Directory]
We also host links to Community Profiles and Strategic Plans, the latter of which were created by the EDC on commission from the Township.
